It is the role of the eDean to ensure that the students studying online at their school make the most of the learning opportunity offered to them. This requires organisation and commitment on behalf of the eDean, and an ability to provide pastoral support to their estudents. It is expected that an eDean will have some time allowance allocated by their home school to regularly follow up with their estudents, and to ensure they are attending their online lessons, engaging with their coursework and completing assessments.
